Why Stay Here
Commissioned by King Mohammed VI, this iconic hotel was inaugurated in 2010 with a vision to create a haven that reflects the magnificence of Moroccan architecture and craftsmanship. The Royal Mansour is not just a hotel; it is a symbol of royal prestige and a celebration of the country's rich heritage.
The architectural design is a masterpiece, drawing inspiration from traditional Moroccan riads. A riad is a traditional house or palace with an interior garden or courtyard, and the Royal Mansour emulates this concept with a series of interconnected riads. The intricate lattice work, zellige tilework, and ornate woodwork showcase the skill of local artisans, creating an ambiance that exudes luxury and authenticity.
The history of the Royal Mansour is intricately tied to Morocco's royal legacy, and its design pays homage to the country's architectural traditions. This is a place where you can actually say it’s a stay fit for a King.

Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is within close proximity to key attractions such as the historic Medina, the vibrant Jardin Majorelle, and the bustling souks. Despite its central location, the Royal Mansour is nestled within its own oasis, offering a peaceful retreat from the lively energy of Marrakech. The exclusive and private nature of the hotel's surroundings ensures that guests can enjoy a serene atmosphere while being just moments away from the cultural richness and excitement of the city. This strategic location makes the Royal Mansour a coveted destination for those seeking both convenience and a secluded escape in the captivating ambiance of Marrakech.

Dining
There are 4 signature restaurants on property restaurants and they all have one thing in common: they are the signature of passionate Chefs who brilliantly, each in their universe, embody the Royal Mansour spirit. I had the pleasure of dining at La Grande Brasserie by Hélène Darroze and Sesamo and they both offered incredible experiences. What truly sets the Royal Mansour apart is its exceptional commitment to service. The hotel has garnered a reputation for providing a level of personalized and attentive service that goes beyond expectations, creating an experience of unparalleled luxury. The entire staff at Sesamo even signed the menu for me after our dinner.
The staff at the Royal Mansour exudes a warmth and friendliness that pleasantly defies the stereotypical atmosphere associated with fine dining establishments. Despite the opulence and sophistication, there's an inviting and approachable demeanor among the team.
The Spa
The design of the spa at the Royal Mansour is a testament to opulence and tranquility, seamlessly blending traditional Moroccan riad architecture with exquisite craftsmanship. Lush gardens, soothing water features, and natural light create a serene atmosphere, offering an immersive escape. Each private treatment room reflects a focus on comfort and luxury, adorned with intricate zellige tilework and carved wood. There’s even a spa restaurant that many people don’t know about.
The indoor swimming pool is also a great alternative for those looking for a quiet relaxing moment.
The hammam experience at the Royal Mansour is a journey into the heart of Moroccan bathing rituals. What distinguishes this opulent retreat is its unique offering of heated marble floors within the hammam, a lavish touch that epitomizes the hotel's commitment to exceptional comfort and sophistication.
